 We often appreciate trees for their shades and their ability to provide enough shades and fresh air which brings nourishment to our body and strengthen our health but there also exist some terrifying trees which are totally mysterious in their appearance.

These tress possess twisted branches and flappy leaves with ominous sihouttes that can send shivers down your spines. One of such trees is the devil's tree located in Port St. Lucie in Florida. It is an oak tree with dark terrifying track history.

The tree has been linked to different legends with unspeakable deeds. the tree has also been used as a site for lynching of humans with dead bodies hanging on it's branches. In today's world, the locals believed that the trees are hunted by the spirits of those who lost their lives there.

In northern Ireland, there exist a mesmerizing dark hedges, a stunning tree type which created a terrifying tunnel-like canopy. However this tree has gained a lot of reputation for being hunted due to its eerier atmosphere. 

According to some people, it is believed that the ghost of a maid who passed away hunt the area, while some believed that the tree is possessed by some evil power and spirits of dark presences. 

The tree above is a Baobab tree. It is a very unique tree found in various parts of Africa, madagascar and some parts of Australia. It's appearance with massive trunk and bare branches may remind you of something out of a horror movie. Interestingly, this tree holds a significant value in many cultures for it's medicinal properties and the highly nutritious fruits it produces. 

The world is full of very strange trees with their unusual appearance, and many belong in a fantasy novel. From the drago blood trees of Socotra Island to upside-down trees of African savannah. These peculiar trees are not conventionally frightening but their underworldly appearance is sure to make a lasting impression on anyone who sees them. 

In summary, There are some truly strange trees in the world. The "Monkey Puzzle Tree" in Chile is so named because its branches look like they've been tied in knots, which would puzzle even a monkey! There's also the "Baobab Tree" in Africa, which has been known to reach up to 25 meters in height and 20 meters in diameter It can even hold up to 120,000 liters of water inside its trunk!

Another weird tree is the "Pando Tree," also known as the "Trembling Giant." It's actually not a single tree, but a colony of genetically identical trees all connected by one root system. It covers over 100 acres of land and is estimated to be over 80,000 years old! And lastly, there's the "Dragon's Blood Tree" on the island of Socotra. Its branches grow straight up, looking like they're reaching for the sky. The "blood" part of its name comes from the red sap that oozes out of its trunk when it's cut.
