The Nigerian government has again, accused the Indigenous People Of Biafra(IPOB) and it's leadership of perpetrating propaganda against the government.
The special assistant to the President on media and publicity, Shehu Garba, disclosed this on Thursday while responding to a letter by British lawmaker who fingered Buhari's Administration for killing Christans in Nigeria.
Mr Garba agrees that IPOB is a blacklisted terrorist group in Nigeria but have a formidable force who source of finance is unknown. They only uses propaganda and unfounded allegations to further the course of its succession aganda.
He Further enjoins the lawmaker and other interested individuals or group in Nigeria, to disregard media propaganda of IPOB and it's likes working very hard to discredit the activities of Nigerian Government.

A British lawmaker and legal department of commonwealth, has written a letter to the Federal government, accused it of supporting the killing of Christians, as well as backing of terrorism in the country.
Responding to the allegations, Garba Shehu: “Another, signatory to the letter, is well-known to be associated with the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, a Nigerian-blacklisted terrorist group.
'The IPOB is running a well-known (source-of-financing-unknown) international campaign intended to damage the reputation of Nigeria and its government in order to further their cause of “independence”.
It baffles the entire world how these group of people are able to run worldwide radio broadcast and satellite television network, yet nobody can tell who is sponsoring them. Its very urgent that the world leaders need to probe these groups to reveals their source of finance or get more prohibition.

“The IPOB barely mention their aims in their publicity; neither do they mention that their own leadership do not claim to be Christian. Yet, their media and lobbying campaign has focused near-exclusively on promoting matters related to Christianity in Nigeria, promulgating false claims that a government with 50 per cent of its cabinet and 50 per cent of its State Governors who are Christian somehow works against Christians”.
Nnamdi Kanu, the leader and found of IPOB has reacted to Garba's statement, but said that his group will continue tormenting Nigeria home and abroad until it seize to exist in world map
