The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 election, Atiku Abubakar, announced yesterday, March 22nd, that his son tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).
He made this known via his verified Twitter handle.
“My son has tested positive for coronavirus,” he tweeted.
According to the former Vice-President of Nigeria, his son has been moved to Gwagwalada Specialist Teaching Hospital in Abuja for treatment.
A lot of people have been wondering which of his sons he was talking about as he has about 7; Adamu, Ahmed, Mohammed, Abba, Abdulsalaam and Aminu Abubakar.
His son, Mohammed, who is the General Manager at Adama Beverages, is the one in question.
He is married to Badriyya, daughter of former PDP National Chairman/former Governor of Bauchi State Ahmadu Adamu Mu’azu.
The couple got married in 2014, their grand wedding spanned over 4 days with 7 events.
Mo and Badriyya have 3 kids together.
According to Gistlovers blog on Instagram, Mohammed traveled to the UK and France despite his dad’s warning, contacted the virus and attempted to return home, but his dad asked him to stay back in the UK and get treatment, but he refused and came back to Nigeria.
